The manuscript, titled by a later hand Croniche antiche dalla fondazione scritte dalla madre sor Catarina d’Osimo, chronicles events connected to the Monastery of Santa Lucia in Foligno from 1424 to 1786. This title does not appear in the original, as the most prolific chronicler, sister Caterina da Osimo, calls it either Libro delle memorie or Libro delle ricordanze.
