14th century. Germany (Rhineland, diocese of Mayence). This short historical account written in Latin exists only in one manuscript: Berlin, SB, Ms. lat. qu. 651. The scribes, Thomas and Sigfrid Kote, were Benedictine abbots of Bleidenstadt. The text reports events dating from 1346-1349 and from 1389/90 (p. 151), not always in chronological order.
