1460/1470-c.1529. Italy. Antonio Grumello was born between 1460 and 1470 in Pizzighettone, near Cremona (Lombardy). He belonged to a noble Lombard family that owned lands in the region around Lomello (near Pavia). In his chronicle, he narrates the main battles in which he participated with his three brothers (Giovan Stefano, Alessandro, and Galeazzo) in order to prove his family’s strong devotion to the Sforzas.
