Del Caccia, Giovanni di Matteo

1265/70-c. 1348. Italy. Author of a Dominican order chronicle. Del Caccia was born in Orvieto around 1265-1270. He entered the Dominican Order and, after studying in Pistoia and spending a period of time in the Dominican monastery in Tivoli, he returned to his hometown in 1311. He remained in Orvieto for the rest of his life and died around 1348.
