[Chronica senese di autore anonimo del secolo XIV]

13th-14th century. Italy. The Chronica senese is a compilation that narrates the history of Siena from 1202 to 1391. The chronicle covers the years from 1202 to 1332 fairly evenly, devoting one to four chapters per year, although there is a gap for the years 1268-1281. The events between the 1330s and the 1360s are covered in a more irregular manner. Towards the end, a collection of notes are devoted to the events that occurred during the years 1360-1391.
