c.1395-1435. Italy. Born around 1395 in Milan, Biglia entered the order of the Augustinians in 1412. After studying in Padua, he moved to Florence, where he taught moral philosophy, poetics, and rhetoric between 1418 and 1423. He continued his career in Bologna where he remained until 1428.
