An anonymous short genealogical narrative of the history of the GenoeseGattilusio dynasty, that ruled over the island of Lesbos and other islands of the northern Aegean from 1355 to 1462 from their base in Mytilene. The prose text, which is arranged in seven entries, must have been composed by a person close to the family not long after 1409, the date of the last entry, and probably before 1428, the year in which Jacopo Gattilusio died.…
