14th-17th century. Croatia. Town chronicle written in Italian. The title Annales Ragusini anonymi refers to the chronicle published together with the Annali di Ragusa del magnifico Ms. Nicolò di Ragnina in the volume edited by Natko Speratus Nodilo in 1883. While we can be certain that the author of the second text was the 16th-century writer Nikola-Nikša Ragnina (or Nicolò di Ragnina), we suspect the first text was compiled by five or six anonymous authors.
