Senator, who as a praetorian accompanied Germanicus [2] to the East. There he converted Commagene into a province (Tac. Ann. 2,56,4). In 20 AD he took part in a lawsuit against Calpurnius [II 16] Piso in the Senate (Tac. Ann. 3,13). Later in alliance with Aelius [II 19] Seianus, in 32 after the latter's overthrow he was convicted, to the regret of many in the Senate (Tac. Ann. 6,7,2).
