Italian numismatist, antiquarian and traveller. Born Florence c. 1750, died there 1832. 1774–1778 in Catania (Sicily), 1778–1780 travelled via Budapest and Vienna to Constantinople, where he stayed until 1794. 1804–1810 in Berlin, 1810 Paris, 1810–1814 in Florence, 1816–1818 travelled to Hungary.
