German theologian and antiquarian; actually Rossfeld or Roszfeld. Born 1551 in Eisenach, died Naumburg 7. 10. 1626. 1575 vice-rector of the Protestantisches Gymnasium in Regensburg; from 1586 pastor at Wickerstedt near Apolda; from 1592 cathedral preacher at Naumburg.
