Italian philologist. Born Fener or Campo (now part of Alano di Piavo, province of Belluno), 26. 8. 1688, died there 5. 4. 1768. 1704 entered seminary at Padua. 1718 began work on Totius Latinitatis Lexicon. 1724–1731 prof. of rhetoric at seminary of Ceneda and its director. Completed Totius Latinitatis Lexicon in 1761.
