Rack von Sommerfeld, Johannes; German theologian and Humanist. Born c. 1457 in Sommerfeld (Niederlausitz, now in Poland), died 31. 5. 1520 in Wittenberg. Studied at Krakow from 1491, with Conrad Celtis among others; then in 1499 with Filippo Beroaldo in Bologna.
